Current Projects
- Provided funding to Griffith University for establishing long term ecological research (LTER) plots (10 inside and 10 outside the bilby fence) at Currawinya National Park. In addition to their use for research activities monitoring bilbies and biodiversity at Currawinya, the plots contribute to an international biodiversity monitoring network
- Managing our captive breeding programs at Charleville and Dreamworld
- Future investigations are well underway for future release sites without a predator free fence area. This is the next major goal to be achieved if this program is to be successful long term.
- Creation of a Primary School Teacher’s Pack
- Providing funding to support research into the endangered Bridled Nailtail Wallaby
